Muzzle loader or centerfire?
Yes
if you really need this you are an idiot but it is the moon
The bullet out of the gun will be travelling a lot faster, and with a lot more force than the bullet thrown by hand.
about 36km
way too long, don't get shot
Are you interested in knowing how far a 12 gauge slug will travel, or are you looking for the distance various loads of shot will travel?
I don't understand the question. Were you shot in the back with a .22 and wonder how far it could have gone?
Yes. Many people survive being shot.
Because of the recoil of the weapon. Equal and opposite reaction to the ejection of the projectile fired.
Yes, because there will be no air resistance.
If a gun is fired into the air at a perfect right angle to the earth, the bullet will travel straight up until it stops and falls back to earth. When the bullet reaches the ground, it will be travelling at the same speed as when it exited the gun. Being hit with this bullet would be the same as being shot.
