Don't believe what anyone tells you in the shop - sales brochures are usually either non-committal or over-optimistic - and sales clerks in bike shops simply don't know how the bike is actually going to be used!
If you are really serious about wanting to buy one of these electric bikes and you want to get the best value possible for your money, the only practical way to find out the answer to this question before you buy is to arrange with the shop to have test rides on a couple of bikes which match your budget.
Try them out for at least an hour on the kinds of journeys you want to make. A reputable shop will understand your need to do this, just as a car showroom will understand your need to drive a car before you buy it.
It is impossible to give a sensible answer to this question without knowing some more basic information because the likely distance traveled must always depend on:
* the weight of the bike including the main battery * the weight of any spare batteries carried
* the weight of the rider * the power of the electric motor * for any particular journey, how much of the route was downhill or uphill on average as well as the maximum gradient of any hills. * for what percentage of the journey the bike's battery will be allowed to "recover" either during stops on the way or by the rider pedaling the bike with the motor switched off * whether or not the bike's battery-control system allows the the battery to be recharged by using the the motor as a dynamo when the bike is ridden down steep hills.
It depends opon the speed of the bike.
Electric there better for the environment. They can travel far enough to cover 90% of the travel distance of the population.
lt depends on the person. Someone in my family rode across the United States on a bike. I have done a 4 mile bike trip. I don't know about other people though.
Not so far

Impossible to say, as it depends on the size of the wheel. To find out, calculate the circumference of the Wheels.
Travel can be fun and travel can be educational.
"Too far to travel for you"
The domestic automobile gets the best MPG is the Chevy Volt by far. This vehicle is primarily an electric car and is said to get in excess of 100 mpg.
The distance an electric car can travel depends on a lot of factors including weight of the vehicle, the motor, the batteries and weather conditions. An electric car will get anywhere from 25 to 300 miles depending on the make and model.
