How fast a child grows out of their clothes varies from child to child. Children from birth to 1 year typicall y need new clothes every 2 to 3 months. From 1 to 3 most children will need new clothes usually every 3 to 9 months. Children over 4 usually can use the same clothes for a year or so but, due to growth spurts, may suddenly outgrow an item overnight.
