I believe that Marlin made their Model 49 rifle for Western Auto Stores using their Revealation brand.
Type your answer here... The Sears J.C. Higgins model 44dlm lever action rifle was made by Marlin Firearms Company and is the same as the Marlin Model 57M, chambered for .22WMR (.22 magnum). It was produced between about 1959 to 1969 (?).
Not 100% certain, but I THINK your rifle was made by Marlin for Western Auto stores- and is in the Marlin 81 family. Below is a link to a photo of a Marlin. These are bolt action, tube fed 22 rifles.
Cannot be absolutely certain, but the Revelation 110M was made by Marlin for a company called "Western Auto Supply Co." sometime in the early 1960s. It is really a Marlin 81 rifle, a model they produced in many variants for decades.
