Seeking justice then would have been like someone trying to get their virginity back.

We can all seek something, but finding it is another matter entirely. Even then, we may not realise that what we have been seeking is not what were looking for in the first place.

What would justice have been in 1940's Germany? Would it have been fair? Would the same rules have applied to all people?

I think it might be fruitful for you to explore the real meaning of justice, and therein may the answer to your question be found.

Did the US help during the holocaust?

The Germans did a fine job of keeping the extermination process a secret until the end of the of course. While the Germans were retreating back to Berlin, they left the concentration camps as is without destroying them. Thus, the US military was able to seek medical help for those Jews who needed and exploit the German plot to the rest of the world. +++ The extermination and concentration camps were discovered and liberated by various of the Allied nations, not just the US. The Red Army (Soviet Russia) found many as they advanced from the East. Many of the German guards fled before they could be caught, especially fearing the Russians bent on revenge for the attempted Nazi invasion with its horrendous Siege of Stalingrad (now St. Petersburg).

Those too old, young, or feeble to work were killed in specially built gas chambers; their bodies were then cremated. ___The systematic mass murders began in 1941. One can take the Holocaust back to the Kristallnacht, but most historians confine to the "Final Solution". (Until mid 1941 Jews were able to leave Germany and Nazi occupied territory, if they could find somewhere to go to).1. Regular mass gassings started at Chelmno on 8 December 1941. 2. The Wannsee Conference, which co-ordinated the various agencies involved in the Holocaust - the SS, the German railways, the ordinary police, etc. - took place on 20 January 1942.
