A gifted students IQ has to be 130 or higher.
I believe it is, because I think that is how high your IQ has to be in order to be gifted. If it is not a high IQ then it is a very close to gifted average IQ.
intellectually gifted is also known as mentally gifted... - are people with very high mental capacity/ very high IQ... - people who gain IQ higher than average...
It means you are highly gifted and that high of an IQ is consider genius
Yes, an IQ of 132 is high and you are considered gifted, but if you want, you could try to increase it. IQ is not definite, and maybe you can one day get 169 like me.
It's not gifted, but it is considered as Bright Normal Intelligence.
Yes. That is if you accept high to refer to people with IQ's over 125 (give or take 10points or so depending on who you are discussing it with). Expert establishments such as GERRIC with the University of NSW accept students with an IQ over 125 into their Gifted and Talented programs. According to the NSW Department of Education's G&T policy a gifted student is : "Gifted students are those whose potential is distinctly above average in one or more of the following domains of human ability: intellectual, creative, social and physical. Talented students are those whosareas of human performance. " © State of NSW, Department of Education and Training, Curriculum K-12 Directorate, 2004
A gifted child, or a child prodigy.
I would say a high percentage of students would qualify just based on IQ tests....like 40-50%.
Lewis Terman, an American psychologist, was a major proponent for gifted education. He developed the concept of the IQ test and conducted research on gifted individuals, leading to the development of programs for intellectually advanced students.
yeah
Over 130 is considered gifted.
The average IQ is 90- 110. Above average IQ is 111- 129. Gifted IQ is 130 and higher. So you are smarter than average, but not gifted.
