There is no such thing as a cheap kitchen make over. The cost can run pretty high. If you want to save money, try changing the wallpaper, chairs, and tables.
You want the drain pipe for a kitchen sink at least 18" above the floor. You do not want it any closer or it might be kicked, or damaged during building or installing the faucet pieces.
Benefits of using duraceramic on a kitchen floor is that it gives the kitchen a modern look, is customizable, and it is cheaper then some of the other high end floors.

You can, but depending on the model you may have problems with water siphoning out of the dishwasher during operation. Putting in a high loop may prevent this, and running the drain to a countertop air gap device before passing through the floor should certainly prevent it.

The drain is either not high enough or partly clogged. It should be about 36 inches up off floor. Adding a bit of ABS pipe is easy, or run a thin snake down and unclog it.
