∙ 12y agoArizona's weather is typically very sunny and dry, with hot summers and mild winters. It can get quite hot, especially in the southern part of the state, with temperatures often exceeding 100°F in the summer months. The northern regions of Arizona have more varied weather, with higher elevation areas experiencing cooler temperatures and even snow in the winter.

∙ 12y agoThe southern part of the state proudly and rightfully boasts an arid climate. It's quite pleasant year round, only becoming oppressively hot after 9am in summer. It will stay hot 'til 9pm in summer. Conversely, it actually does occasionally snow in the desert in winter, but since it usually melts off within 3 days, you have to look fast. Sledding optional.
North of the Mogollon rim (beware the Mogollon Monster), Arizona is a forested wonderland, with the city of Flagstaff occupying an altitude of 7,000 feet above sea level. Skiing in winter is optional- there are ski lifts in the mountains (The San Francisco Peaks), which rise to just over 12,000 feet.

Arizona's greatest length is approximately 400 miles from north to south, and its greatest width is around 310 miles from east to west.
Weather related basically means that it has to do with weather.
Weather forecast refers to the prediction of future weather conditions, while weather update refers to information on current weather conditions. Forecasting involves analyzing current weather data and patterns to predict future changes, which is why forecasters use the term weather forecast to indicate their predictions. On the other hand, a weather update provides information on the current weather at a specific moment in time without predicting future changes.

A weather sensor is a device that measures various weather parameters, such as temperature, humidity, pressure, wind speed, and precipitation. These sensors help gather data that is used to monitor and forecast weather conditions. They are crucial in providing information for meteorologists to predict and study weather patterns.
