Easter is celebrated mainly as a function of Christian communities within those countries, Hundreds of people attend Easter Vigils at churches, which are decorated with clothes made into butterflies, flowers, banana trees and other shapes. Lights are usually turned off at 3pm and turned back on at 6pm.
After Mass, traditional dances are held outside the church. After the dancing, people go home for food and drinks, though in some areas people remain at the church to enjoy food and drinks.
Traditional Easter food is boiled or roasted rice with meat or chicken.
