Umm...they sell gas cheaper? They also sell the most popular synthetic motor oil, Mobil 1. Shell, OTOH...Shell has the new "nitrogen enriched gasoline" that is supposed to be a really great detergent fuel, and Shell's Rotella T is the leading heavy duty motor oil for big trucks and old Volkswagens. On the human rights and ecological fronts, oil companies are essentially evil no matter which one they are. I think it's basically a wash.

The worlds most powerful oil companies are Exxon and Royal Dutch Shell. Exxon has long been one of the most, if not the most, profitable companies in the world, and Royal Dutch Shell is one of the most highly respected companies in the United Kingdom.
Shell is better. It is considered a top tier gasoline. If you google "top tier gasoline", you will find a website that lists which gas companies provide the best gasoline. Shell, Exxon and BP have the most detergent in their fuel. Having said that, Gulf is still a very good brand and you'll probably save a few bucks as well. I also like the Gulf logo better :)
Crabs keep better in the the shell.
Yes. RON95 is a shell fuelsave 95. The yellow pump is a fuel save 95. In fact, RON95 is better mileage than RON97 but the performance of RON 97 is better than RON 95.
