Contagious Diseases can be transmitted though air, body fluids, water, food, and even things we touch. Bacteria or viruses can cause contagious diseases. There are many different contagious diseases and each have their own effects on the body.

Some seasonal ones are:

  • The Flu - with dozens of different strains, including Swine Flu
  • The Cold
  • Pneumonia (which can be deadly)

Some moderate ones:

  • Bronchitis
  • Strep Throat
  • Mono

And some deadly ones:

  • Meningitis
  • HIV and AIDS (Sexually Transmitted)
  • Measles
  • Rabies
  • Diptheria
  • Tuberculosis

Diseases are spread to person to person by different ways. They are including touching, sneezing (by air), body fluids (through sexual or blood contact). This mode of transfer of pathogenic organisms are specific to a particular organisms. For example HIV causing AIDS, can not be infected or transmitted through touching or by air. this only transmitted via direct body fluid contact.
