Artificial insemination
Oestrus synchronisation (UK) or estrus synchronization (US), is when female mammals go into "heat" at about same time. This is induced in cattle to be able to perform artificial insemination or embryo transfer at about the same time for the whole herd.
It is called artificial insemination.
Yes, there can be artificial insemination in which the sperm is injected into the female. There is also in vitro, (which means literally in glass) the egg is fertilized by the sperm outside of the body and them the resulting fertilized eggs are implanted into the female.
In some cases, the direction of evolution is intentionally controlled by humans. We call this artificial selection, or breeding - as in the breeding of cattle. In all other cases, nobody controls the direction of evolution.
