Well, c'mon man I had told ya freaking losers to talk straight u fetha doggy dog frequency is measured in a wave because of the winds coming from the sea which go in the sky to become solid gases that petrol you with acid rain and that causes diseases like six packs and body full of cricket nuggets plus an apple of berry juice that can make u feel good guys don't study it's just a waste of ur six packs which I have lol but u don't so this is the frequency of waves in waves which r melted into six packs. Thanks guys this is the frequency in waves we have to see how the waves respond to our waves

What is the frequency of a wave measured by?

The frequency of a wave is measured in Hertz.

What is frequency of wave measured in?

It is measured in Hertz (Hz).

What it means for a wave to have a frequency of hertz?

hertz is what frequency waves are measured in.

The unit in which wave frequency is measured?

Hertz (Hz)

How can you derive the unit of frequency from basic units?

If the wave speed is measured in m/s, the wave length is measured in m, and the wave speed divided by the wave length = the frequency, then: m/s / m = 1/s thus the unit of frequency is 1/s or s^-1

What is Frequency of a wave?

frequency = 1/ Time In other words, the frequency and period of a wave are reciprocals of each other.

What is height of wave called?

The height of a wave is called the amplitude. The top of the wave is called the crest. The bottom of the wave is called the trough. The frequency of the wave is the number of wave crests passing a given point in a specific amount of time. Frequency is measured in hertz.

What are three basic components of all signals?

•Amplitude-Height (loudness) of the wave-Measured in decibels (dB)•Frequency:-Number of waves that pass in a second-Measured in Hertz (cycles/second)-Wavelength, the length of the wave from crest to crest, is related to frequency•Phase:-Refers to the point in each wave cycle at which the wave begins (measured in degrees)-(For example, changing a wave's cycle from crest to trough corresponds to a 180 degree phase shift).

Frequency is a measurement of what pass per second?

Frequency is a measurement of how many cycles, or wave crests, there are per second. It is measured in Hertz, equal to cycles/second.Frequency is a measurement of how many cycles, or wave crests, there are per second. What is the frequency of of a wave measured in?

The standard unit for ANY type of frequency is the Hertz - cycles per second. Its dimensions are (1 / second).

Who produces sound energy?

Vibrations result in a wave, which is a form of energy, and can be measured in frequency and height.
