Centrifugal casting solidify under high G forces against the mold Inner Diameter. This promotes ideal directional solidification.Achieving a very fine and compact grain structure.
The self cleansing action of the centrifugal casting process moves all slag and inclusions to the inner diameter. The remaining casting is free from all such impurities.
The process is also called liquid forging as liquid metal is directly forced into shape.
