the rat and human anatomy is so simaler, its easy to tell the rat from the human. but it gets confusing. the rat has the same anatomy as a human but its smaller. if you do a disection of a rat you will find that the organs are there but there all moved over. some are in the same spots but then some are moved to a more safer spot.
try a disection some time and you will see for yourself.

Not much. Most all mammals have the same bones, only their sizes and shapes are different. For example: a giraffe and a human both have seven cervical vertebrae. In fact, all mammals, even whales have the same number of cervical vertebrae.
rats are rats and people are people are people Besides that obvious fact. The thoracic cavity of a rat is much smaller than the abdomino-pelvic cavity but in humans they are almost the same size. Rats also do not have gallbladders. There are many other differences but these are the ones I know. Sorry :/
Rats lungs are divided into four lobes on the right side and only one on the left, humans have three on the right and two on the left side.
Rats have three liver lobes humans have four.
Humans have 2 lobes of lung, a rat also has 2. A major difference is that humans have one lobe of liver (I think) and Rat's have 7 (positive).
because rats have similar body parts as humans
