First off, how long cocaine remains in the body depends upon a number of factors: doage, duration of usage, & metabolism (i.e., someone who is overweight will not metabolism & eliminate the drug & its metabolites from the body as quickly). With that said, insufflated (or snorted) cocaine has a half life of roughly 1 hour; & its psychoactive effects last anywhere from 10 minutes to 40 minutes. Other ways of using cocaine will eliminate it from the body even quicker- IV use will leave the body the quickest--and its effects are shorter in duration as well--followed by smoking cocaine (i.e., either freebasing or by using crack-cocaine) , which is slightly longer acting, around 5-15 minutes tops.
Relative to IV'd heroin and/or other potent opiates/opioids, death from cocaine-overdose is very rare (although this is not to say severe side effects from overdose wont occur, such as convulsions and/or seizure). But to answer your question: Someone who uses cocaine daily w/ a moderate tolerance (an eight of an ounce, or less, per day) generally can "speedball" within 2-3 hours after using cocaine. Although it is recommended to "speedball" around 4-5 hours after last use. Someone who is a social user of cocaine, well, he or she should be okay speedballing 1.5-3 hours after last use.
However, it is pertinent to note that polydrug use is very dangerous. If you overdose on one of the substances & need medical attention- antagonists are unsafe to use.. i.e., if naloxone is used for a heroin overdose, this may cause exasperated cocaine effects--including, but not limited to, seizure, unconsciousness, and possible death (especially in heroin/opiate tolerant users). So please be careful, heroin quality can differ between batches (and frankly how much faith you have in your dealer... b/c TRUST ME, they could care less about your health; they only care about their ends, being profit). Before using both substances at once, I would recommend using one of them first (particularly heroin, since it is more likely to cause coma or death from overdose) before you decide to speedball or engage in polydrug use (i.e., combined two or more drugs, usually "hard drugs", at once.
Good luck and please be safe... Among users of hard drugs (such as meth or amphetamines, cocaine or crack-cocaine, heroin or other potent opiates/opioids like fentanyl or hydromorphone, GHB, alcohol, and/or barbiturates) around 3% of users die every YEAR (that is, 3 users out of every 10) as a result of their drug use. PLEASE use caution!
And this equally applies to insufflation of heroin; not just injecting it--unless I specifically referred to intravenous injectionl
like 10 min should be fine.
No, Heroin is derived from opium coming form the poppy. Cocaine comes from the coca leaf.
no.
Either heroin, or cocaine.
Let me start by stating that I assume you meant "heroin". Anyway, no, the chemical structures of these compounds are completely different. Heroin is derived from morphine whereas cocaine is a tropane alkaloid. Thus, it is not possible to convert cocaine to heroin.
Heroin.
Speeball
Both cocaine and heroin will effect your concentration. You do not want to take these substances and then get behind a wheel.
That's called "speedballing". Extremely dangerous, because you have 50% chance of your heart stopping suddenly. ^This guy is wrong. Speedballing is when you mix meth with heroin. Mixing cocaine and meth will put more of a strain on your heart and increase the risk of heart attack, especially if you have a history of heart problems. However, chances are that you will survive as long as you don't over do it. ^that's not necessarily true... im from middle Georgia and ive always heard meth and coke mixed referred to as speedballing... so i guess it really depends on the culture ur from determining whether or not its meth or heroine...
Cocaine and heroin are two totally different chemicals, and require totally different tests be applied. For dip-stick testing you need a stick for cocaine and another for heroin; assay testing requires two different programs in your machine.Given that, if you're running SAMSHA-5 drug tests by either methodology, you'll have both a cocaine test and a heroin test.
i hope this is a joke hahahahaha no...
