Ammonia and bleach are both consistently toxic for human ingestion.
A mixture of water, vinegar, and bleach is corrosive to most metals. If pennies are placed in it, the copper will oxidize. Rusting is a term only applying to the oxidization of iron, not other metals. The pennies will look a lot cleaner and the liquid will turn blue. If you leave the pennies in the mixture too long, holes may start to form in them.
Not sure, but if the penny/cent has any numismatic value, cleaning with bleach or any other chemical will reduce its value significantly
Soak a coonwool ball, or similar, in bleach and leave it sitting on the stain for as long as needed. (It took 3 days to work completely) resoaking the cottonwool ball maybe required. This also works for hair dye stains.

A quick wipe with household bleach on a soft cloth should kill the mold and remove it. Do not leave the bleach on for very long as it will discolor the material.
It can cause irritation and chemical burn the skin. The same happens to your scalp if you leave it on to long.
