Well I left a cheesecake in the fridge for 17days and then eat it and I wasn't ill at all. Most people wouldn't keep a cheesecake in the fridge for that long anyway, but I did!

The standard rule is that no cooked food should be left out for more than two hours before it is refrigerated. For safety's sale, that rule should be followed.

It's no good. Meat needs to be kept refrigerated - as the temp of the meat rises on the counter, the bacteria multiply. The general rule is if left out over two hours, throw it out... Sorry!
