The answer to that is still in debate and unknown. However, I can tell you that I know someone who did one hit (approx. 15-25mg) about 6 weeks before a hair follicle test and the results came back negative for cocaine. This is not to say that it wasn't "detected" but it was definitely below the 300 pg/mg cutoff level.

So, if you were to use illegal drugs, scientists/medical professionals could tell as long as your hair hasn't been cut since that use. This is a cumulative process, and is a good record for those with long hair.

Hair tests can basically see what you ate for the last 6 months, If you're getting a hair test, you better be clean for a while before hand or else youre not in good shape, unless you shave every follicle of hair on or in your body, (like your nose hair) they will give the same results.
