you can keep beef up to a year in the freezer
A side of beef will last up to a year while frozen. You do need plenty of freezer space for this amount of beef. Beef or any other meat can keep for a long time in a cold storage, but if it is for a long to do expect the qualilty of taste to be less than fresh meat.
You can store any frozen food for 6 months unless it it not packaged properly and it gets freezer burn.
I don't know about you, but I feel worse in the freezer!
I think if you keep your hand long enough in a freezer it can get frost bite, but no. You can not get freezer burn from touching a freezer. That requires a long peorid of time.
A long time
until the freezer breaks down until the freezer breaks down
Until it molds Which would be a very long time. Mold doesn't grow in a properly cold freezer (usually 0-10F.) Really you can keep food frozen until it dries out, and even longer if you're ok with freezer burned food or it is something you can rehydrate effectively. Beef tends to toughen the longer you keep it in the freezer, so have that in mind with what you want to use it for. Hamburgers, for example, are best with the freshest beef you can use, while taco meat, or other dishes where you break up the meat while cooking, is not as bad with old frozen meat.

This is a very good way to store this food. It will stay good for a year or two. Freezing is the best way to keep meats cooked or raw.
