In my experience, the Clown Loach (Botia macracantha) will live for over 7 years. They need to be kept in groups of 5 or more and they also grow to around 12 inches long. So a large tank is needed.
Clownfish don't carry their young inside like humans do, they lay eggs. The eggs are held as long as is needed, and then laid on a rock where the young develop externally. They hatch after about 7-10 days.
15 - 20 years in captivity if properly cared for
However, that is hard to accomplish and most owners have clownfish for only 3 - 6 years
The Clownfish do not stay with their Mothers. After the babies hatch they drift for ten days and then find their own home.
they live for 6-10 years
they can grow from 2-5 inches

Clownfish hatch into larvae that are swept away from the nest as soon as they hatch; so clownfish stay with the parents as eggs for 10-14 days.
Clownfish don't have a womb ! They lay eggs - which are fertilised by the male - and simply left to 'drift' in the water.
