How long does a Sim stay pregnant in the Sims 3 PC edition?

Well make ou need to be on at least level 10 and once you get a goal to get engaged and married you can have a baby. You have to buy a cot and click on the person plus button. From then your sim will gradually become pregnant which will take about 3 hours and once your baby is born in the next 2 days of its life it will become a toddler and that's as old as it grows

EDIT- actually, as long as you like if you enter the testingcheatsenabled true cheat and cntrl-click on pregnant and the baby is coming they will actually stay pregnant lol i did this by accident!!
