Teddy bear hamsters can live from 1-4 years, depending on how well you care for them. Most likely they will live 2-3 years, but if they are given improper nutrition, housing, vet care, and handling, they will live less. If they are given a large enough cage (minimum 24"x12"), aspen or care fresh bedding (not pine), a wheel, things to chew on, hiding spots, hamster pellets (not seeds, they can pick and chose and not get all the nutrients they need), mazuri is a good brand. Hamsters, like most rodents also can get
cancer and tumors, which is the cause of death in most rodents.
3 maybe 4 years
yes as long as its a hamster cause i have a Teddy bear hamster shes adorable name is daisy.
Yes I did. The babies look awesome.
16 days is the gestation period of the Syrian hamster (teddy bear)
Yes, one just has longer hair, but are the same breed.
There is no such breed as a Dwarf teddy bear hamster. The normal 'Teddy Bear' hamster is just a nick-name given to another variation of the Syrian hamster. This is the long haired variety and is sometimes referred to as the "Teddy Bear" These hamsters are all one and the same breed, the Syrian hamster. (Mesocricetus auratus) No attempt should be made to intermix different species.
By 'Teddy bear' do you mean Long-haired Syrian? And by 'black bear' do you mean black Short-Haired Syrian? Then yes. They are both Syrian.
FOUR MONTHS
hi iv never heard of a panda bear hamster. but i had a teddy bear hamster and she never bit me as long as you dont wake it up then touch it or have food smell on your hands!!! so wash your hands before and after touching any hamster! i hope i helped!
no you can get them at almost any pet store.
Yes you can as long as they are both teddy bears. I used to have 1 brown and 1 black teddy bear hamster myself.
Hamsters are very territorial creatures (with the ecxeption of dwarf hampsters) they will most likely fight. As long as you spend a lot of time with your hampster, it's good to only get one.
At Petco and Petsmart they are $9.99.But you could get one cheaper from a breeder.
