You can, just not too much, especially when it is close to winter, and I would recomend brushing him with an old toothbrush afterwards, you could also wet the tooth brush as well to wash him off and if you cut his fur, make sure you don't do it more than once a month!
i think that you better not because you may unknowingly cut the hamsters skin and the hamster will bite you. also, the hamster may die if the wound is too deep. better not trim a hamster's nails. just let it be.

No this is not a good idea. Hamsters don't need trimming and this sort of hamster doesn't have particular long hair. The chances are you will cut the hamster.
-I agree, long-haired hamsters would be the type most likely to need a trim per Vet's professional opinion.
Definitely not! Hamsters are so small that if you try cutting their fur you could cut them which could lead to death. Also this could traumatize them and they could develop wet tail, a fatal disease which is caused by stress.
No. Long haired Syrian hamsters (aka teddy bear hamsters, and a few other nicknames) do not need haircuts. and since the creatures have to constantly move around, it is probably not wise to try it. You could cut them! Not to mention that holding them still for too long will stress them out and too much daily stress can lead to an illness in a hamster that leads to death. (not saying one haircut will kill your pet, just that stressing them out is bad :3) The only thing you are recommended to do with a long-haired syrian hamster is to brush their coats every once in a while. (they will groom themselves often, but their coats can get matted easily) Using a clean toothbrush and giving them a weekly brush is best. This can be done without holding down your pet. They need not be extremely still for this. :)
Don't even try. The hamster might do it by her/him self. You may hurt your hamster so don't even take the chance
It might be a good idea sometimes to trim the 'skirt' of a long-haired hamster, as cage debris like sawdust tends to get stuck in it.
Don't do that. It is not like a beard or mustache that has to be trimmed. They are part of the hamster's body, and they help him to determine if he can fit into one space or another.
about 1 month it, but it's not the same for all teddy bear hamsters
Pretty much, the only difference is that teddy bear hamsters have longer fur
It is natural for Teddy Bear hamsters ( Syrians ) and for Fancy hamsters.
No, teddy bear hamsters are Syrian hamsters.
they are called teddybear hamsters because they have lots of fur and look like a bear they are big like a bear also Teddy bear hamsters are called Teddy bears because of their resemblance to a mini bear They both bite, are omnivorous, and are super cute. I believe that they are just sooo cute! Hope this helps!
The name 'teddy bear hamster' comes from the fur. If you look at a brand new teddy, you will notice the fur is extremely soft, as a teddy bear hamster. The name just comes from the fur type.
NEVER sperate the baby hamsters unless u see that the babies have fully grown fur on them and that they can take care of themselves.
depends on how long its fur is. or if its small or big. furry hampsters are teddy bear hampsters. short haired brown fur are golden hampsters. extremely tiny ones are dwarf. look it up
Well a teddy bear hamster is usally a light brown color or brown with just white spots.A dwarfhamster is usally grey, black,or white. I have 2 teddy bear hamster.they are SOOO cute! Teddy bear hamsters, dwarf hamsters, golden hamsters; they can be all different colors... brown, grey, white, black... any thing. Teddy bear hamsters have looong fur, sometimes up to 1 1/2 inches in spots. They usually have slimmer bodies, like mice, but the fur makes up for the lack of body! :)
it is normal for your teddy bear hamster to lose fur. it just a sign of old age. and it is also ok for your hamster to change fur color also.
The best way to tell if a teddy bear is of good quality and will last long is: the brand, The quality of the fur and the stitching of the teddy bear and costume. The price of the teddy bear can also make a difference. You get what you pay for.
A teddy bear hamster is a type of syrian hamster and can be identified usually by their golden fur. Russian dwarf hamsters are much smaller than syrian hamsters so it is easy to tell them apart
