Since there is no known standardized test (e.g. Urine, hair, saliva) that looks for Salvinorin A usage, there is no way to really tell. Salvinorin A is such a relatively new substance that the scientific community knows very little about its long term effects.
So far, short term effects seem to be non-threatening to the well-being and health of the human body, save for the danger associated with smoke inhalation (the primary method of Salvinorin ingestion).
However, we may or may not find negative long term effects as more and more medical/scientific information is brought to light.
No, Salvia divinorum contains a salvinorins. The salvinorin that is primarily responsible for the effects of salvia is salvinorin A
As long as your on it
For as long as it stays in yours.
It is very unlikely casual exposure to cannabis smoke will cause THC to be transferred to the blood.
THC stays in your spit for 24h. Or max. 3 days.
THC is supposed to stay in your system for 30 days. Give or take a few based on your metabolism. But I have heard people say that it can stay in your hair for years. I guess it depends on how long you have smoked and how often.
yes but you wont fail drug tests. salvia is legal
Thc can be detected in the saliva for 5 to 10 days depending if you are a heavy user.
Up to 30 days.
I would think so. THC is THC! It would also depend on how long ago you had your fun snack!

My experience is that salvia and marijuana are complimentary. A little pot in a pipe with some salvia sprinkled over it and then smoked - even just one comfortable hit - can prolong the salvia effects while making the marijuana effects clearer.
