It actually depends on what recipe you want with the ribeye steak. here's an example:

Here are the Ingredients

a small can of mushrooms

a can of celery soup

a can of cream of mushroom soup and

Get a nice bowl to combine the onion soup, celery soup and mushroom soup in the bowl. After washing the meat, place it on a clean chopping board and start slicing the meat into strips.

Get a baking pan and arrange the meat strips on it. On the top place mushrooms. Cover the pan with the foil made of aluminum. If you have time, bake the dish using an oven by preheating it to 250 degrees Fahrenheit for about 4 hours or you can cook for 2 hours by preheating to 350 degrees. Once ready, you can start serving. Get some noodles to add to it.

It depends on the thickness of the steak. Most steaks though are between 3/4" and 1" thick. For those steaks a good rule to follow until you get a feel for it is to sear the steak on direct heat for 2-3 minutes, then cook on a lower temperature or indirect heat for about 7 minutes. It is important to get the most flavor that you flip the steak as little as possible and NEVER press on the steak with a spatula or tongs. It makes that nice satisfying sizzle because you are squeezing out all the juices (aka: flavor) out of the steak.
