First off, it's a business school, not a school of business. Now that that's out of the way, it usually takes two years to complete an MBA program at a buisiness school and 4-6 years for Phd students if the school offers that kind of a program. The Phd number is universal, but the MBA number can vary. Some schools outside of America offer 1 year MBA programs. An example of this is INSEAD, a French business school with campuses in Fontainbleau and Singapore. At Insead, the MBA course starts eitehr in January or July and lasts one year. Despite the shorter amount of time, many business schools like INSEAD that offer one year programs are considered to have MBA programs that are on par with most two year programs. That being said, schools like INSEAD are very rare outside America and virtually non-existent within the U.S. It's thus more likely that any program you'd take would last two years instead of one year.
