Firstly, it is a good idea to cut the fat off if you don't want much flaming when grilling the steak. If you wish, you can leave it as it is for the great taste. Start by marinating the steaks and putting them inside a plastic zip bag. Pour inside the prefered marinade and then refrigerate it for atleast 6 hours. use a mxiture of black pepper, a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and a cup of beer for improved taste.

Next, remove the steaks from refrigerator and then warm them up to get them ready for grilling. Set the grill to high temperature and don't put the steaks on top of the grill. Be sure to sllow it to heat up first to avoid burning. You can check if it is hot by putting your hand on top atleast 5 inches far.

Now, combine pepper, salt, garlic powder and breadcrumbs in a clean bowl. Dip the steaks in olive oil and then dip them right into the mixture. After that, put the steaks on top of the grill. Turn the steaks once it gets a brown color. Get a meat thermometer to check the doneness of the steak. When the meat is 170-degrees Fahrenheit, it is well done, 160 degrees for medium and 145 degrees for medium-rare. You are now ready to enjoy.

Here is what I do. many different possibilities. Season steaks, allow to sit 30 mins-2 hrs. Heat Gas grill above 600 degrees F. Turn to lowest setting. Place steaks on grill, close cover. wait 3 mins. flip. Allows searing marks. Wait 3 more mins. Flip again. let go about 4-5 mins. flip again for another 4-5 mins. Steak should be about medium. this is for a steak approximately 3/4 to inch thick. watch juices and you can tell by touch how done it is.

There are too many variables to provide a simple answer. The temperature of the grill and the thickness of the steak are the two biggest. And the desired degree of cooking is important. Three to five minutes on each side for a thin cut over a very hot grill will normally get you about a medium. It is best to practice using a good meat thermometer and learn the 'feel' of a steak cooked the way you like it.

Depends on how done you want it, but thin steaks cook quickly, most are done in six or seven minutes.

To grill a 12 lb. rib eyes roast it could take up to 4 or 5 hours. Grilling the rib roast will take longer than cooking it in an oven.
