from previous experience taken by all me, friends and family i would advise you all to put your fish in the tank to later than 2 weeks, all the fish that i have known have died if the owners have waited 1 week to put the fish(s) in whereas all the people that i know that have put the fish in no later than 2 days have lived at least over 1 and a half years!

Of course you must never add fish before the filter is fully cycled. (This can take around 3 weeks or so). Before releasing any fish into an environment one should make sure the water parameters (temp, pH, GH etc) are as close as possible to one another in order to avoid killing the new additions with shock.

2 hours. slowly take out water from the fish's bag and put in water from the tank after that, then put the whole bag (do not release fish, just put the bag, not the contents) and then wait for 15 min, then dump the fish in

yes you need 2 of them to get a long and give them some space to make them get along if you don't have any room for them they well... not come out if you clean the tank so you can make some little house for each of them then they communicate with each other then you have them come out

p.s (make sure if they don't get along with each other put the fish food in each of the houses) :)

Probably the fish. I would not put a crab in a tank with tropical fish unless they were a LOT bigger than it was, and it was not going to grow any larger.

Can you put tropical fish in tank with goldfish?

No goldfish would prefer to have a lower temperature than any type of tropical fish, however some goldfish can withstand higher temperature if they are slowly acclimated to it! But in the long run goldfish would be happy with other goldfish and tropical fish with tropical fish... there is a reason you don't see the goldfish with the tropical fish in a good aquatic store.

What sort of tank should you use for tropical fish?

Use a tropical fish tank, preferably new. That way you know that it should not leak. Try to avoid using a tank that was used for something other than tropical fish. I prefer glass tanks over acrylic because they are less likely to mark or look dirty and they are easier to keep clean. Most aquarists will tell you to start off with a small tank and as you enjoy it more and more, you can opt a larger tank. When I started into tropical fish and as I bought larger tanks I used the smaller tank for breeding. Tropical fish tanks and supplies are available in most pet stores that sell tropical fish.
