How long does it take for suboxone to get out of your bloodstream?

I've been on suboxone for a good 4 years and on oxy's and all the other good stuff that comes with it for at least 6 yrs. General substance abuse has been part of my life for 15 yrs. It's really not at all so much about physical effects coming off suboxone as it is about the mental adjustments you have to make. Every time I was faced with society and it's expectations I popped a pill to deal with whatever demands. You have to be willing to adjust without anything else replacing that need. Give yourself 5 days where you can reflect on your life and have no forced responsibilities or human interaction. I found it helpful to stay as active as possible (not the first day) but the second, third, etc until your mind is over wanting to reach for some sort of substance to deal with life. Physical effects really are very mild, don't listen to stories about how it's just like coming off hardcore opiates! NOWHERE NEAR IT! The only thing I could feel was constant chills. For the first time in 10 years people don't walk into my apt thinking it's an ice box =) I admit the mental urge is the tricky part. You really have to come to terms that all this rubbish is ruining your body, life and relationships....EVEN SUBOXONE! I wish everyone Good Luck with getting away from it all. Know that after the first couple of days it starts to get easier every day. Another Benefit...having smoked at least a pack of cigs a day while on suboxone, 4 days after I stopped taking them I couldn't stand the taste of cigs anymore.

Depends on many factors. At levels to be effective, typically a day or so. The time traces will remain depends on the specific drug, the dosage, the length of time taken, the part of the body that the drug targets and the size of the individual. Some of them could remain in the hair forever, at least until the part that was growing when taking the drug is cut off and thrown away. ***BREAK!**** I've never heard more moronic people talk at once on a forum board! The effects last about 24 hours but if you mean how long as in if you have been taking it for a long period of time, say 6 months or longer, then it will still show up in a drug test about a month after stopping

I am currently taking Suboxone and they do not show up on most panel tests. To tell you the truth I don't think they show up on the quantam test either. They are not an opiate, they work in your mind, not your body.

It would take 48-72 hours before Suboxone is completely out of your system. Suboxone is mainly used to alleviate the craving for narcotic addiction.

Suboxone as a long half life. I read that every 36 hours it reduces by half. So if you took 8mg it would be reduced to 4mg at 36 hours and so on.
