∙ 11y agoWith the wifi off, the charge can last as much as 8 hours. Watching video with the wifi off, as much as 7 hours. Going online reduces the lifetime considerably.

No, the android eBook reader is not worth it if you already have the kindle fire. The Kindle is the best EBook reader on the market. The android tablet is a want to be. As far as the screen longitivity, I'm not sure. My guess would be that they do not last as long as the kindle fire.
