I imagine it depends on the species but black bears can live as long as 23 years in the wild. Their chances of reaching that age are pretty slim though. Survival rates of juveniles and sub-adults are generally less than 50%. Adult bears have an annual survival rate of 50 - 80%, depending on the location. The oldest recorded was shot aged 41 years in New York State 1974. Black bears can live to 30 years in the wild but most often live for only about 10, mostly because of encounters with humans. More than 90% of black bear deaths after the age of 18 months are the result of gunshots, trapping, motor vehicle accidents, or other interactions with humans.

bear live up to 30 to 40 year that is a long time for a bear but if a bear lives in a zoo itt oney lives up to 18 years =s

Bears can live up to 25 to 30 years old though most do not.
giant pandas live 30 years in captivity 20 years in the wild
they live 10 too 20 years.
about 15 years at maximum.
The average age that a bear lives in the wild is 18 years. Bears are generally healthy species and can live as long between 30 and 40 years.
