(in the US) So-called "cautions" do not appear on your criminal record. Only records of arrests, prosectuions, and court findings.
A caution will be cleared of your recored when you are sixteen if you got arrested when you were about 12-13 but if you get arrested until you will have a perminant criminal recored
IT DOES NOT GO ON YOUR CRIMINAL RECORD
If it was after September 2004, then it will last forever as it is classed as a "recordable offence".
The length of a criminal record varies depending on the person. Some records can last for the person's entire lifetime.
It could depend on what kind of criminal record you have. How long a record and how severe the crime(s).
Forever. Criminal records are permanent.
A criminal record is PERMANENT.
Your juvenile reocrd will be sealed to the general public when you attain the age of adulthood in your state.
Criminal charges ALWAYS remain on your criminal record. That's why they call it a 'record.' It is a compendium of your entire criminal history.
If you are referring to a dismissal of a criminal charge - the record of your arrest and the charge will always appear on your criminal history record AND ALSO the fact that the charge was dismissed.
Do you get a criminal record for doing a criminal damage to property valued less than 5k you been charged with 300 pounds and you gotta go to court does anyone know if you get criminal record for that? Who's at fault a portable sign was placed behind my car after I arrived at work The sign is 48 height. Hardly visible I backed over the sign and damaged my car This sign normally was place elsewhere.? When criminal behavior can be explained by a medical condition how should the criminal justice system respond? What will happen when I've been charged with Actual Bodily Harm and criminal damage but I have no criminal record? How long does a police caution for criminal damage stay on a criminal record in the UK for a juvenile?
So-called "cautions" are not violations of criminal statutes and thus do not (SHOULD not) appear on your criminal record. In my experience these "cautions" are only kept in local files which are used for reference by invistigators or authorities in the jurisdiction in which you live on the possibility you may come to their attention in the future. The above is wrong. A "caution" is classed as a conviction on your criminal record. Since September 2004, as a result of the Bichard Enquiry, a caution will stay on your record indefinitely as will any conviction for a recordable offence.
