My first draft pick would be Adrian Peterson, knowing that L.T has been lacking the last couple of years.

Wait until the last round of your draft especially if you're able to pick up players during the season. Many good kickers go undrafted and you can always upgrade by picking a better on off waivers.
Fantasy Football is a game in which the participants (called "owners") each draft or acquire via auction a team of real-life NFL (or college depending on the league) players and then score points based on those players' statistical performance on the field. Leagues can be arranged in which the winner is the team with the most total points at the end of the season or in a head-to-head format (which mirrors the actual NFL) in which each team plays against a single opponent each week, and at the end of the year the team with the best win-loss record wins the league. Most leagues set aside the last weeks of the NFL regular season for their own playoffs.
Adrian Peterson scored 53 in a game last year.

Most drafts use what is called a serpentine draft style, meaning the draft flips each round. So if you pick 1st in round 1, you would pick last in the next round, then begin the process again, picking 1st in the 3rd round, and last in the 4th rd. and so on and so on. Many of the major contests and big fantasy football sites use this format for their contests.
Fantasy Sports Trophies have all kinds of selections from every fantasy sports league for purchase. The site also has gag awards for sale like "The Golden Chicken Last Place Award" for the prankster in your League.

Throw the football.
Likely no, as players who come out early rarely have developed sufficient football skills to last in the NFL.
