it depends I've had mine out for 7 months and still have'NT closed up
but it depends how long you've had them done for the less time you've had them done, the shorter it will take to close up,xxxx
good luckx
Well by eight months you are pretty close to them being seasoned piercings (toughened up and able to handle jewellery changes). So they are really close to being healed, removing the jewellery may allow them to heal but it's a 50/50 call at this point. If you have removed the jewellery within a couple of months then I could say they would close up in about 3 months but at 8 it's hit or miss that they will close up. If they do close it could take a year for the body to minimize the holes and close them completely, it really depends on the level of healing. Sorry that's the best I can tell you.
If you had your ears pierced you have to leave the earrings you got pierced with in for 6-8 weeks and then take them out and put in new earrings you wear for 6 MONTHS (yes, months) to make sure that the holes don't close back up.
So, YES they probably will close up after four weeks if you take your earrings out.
It shouldn't take more than a day. Because it's so new it will close but for the most part after ear piercings heal completely they won't heal back perfectly again. and it's even harder to get them to close if you have gauged them at all.
It depends on how long you have had the piercing and at what gauge, it may close over weeks or months then it may never close. It's nothing to worry about.
it depends on a few things. A) where the piercing was B) how long it was pierced for and C) how fast you heal. i got my years pierced 3 years ago and i can go w/o earrings for weeks and it doesnt fully close, and a friend of mine got his ears pierced in highschool and it closed up in his 40s.
It varies, if you have had the piercing for a long time the hole might never close. It does vary, i got my ears pierced over 3 years ago and still close overnight.
Wait at least 8 weeks before you change the jewelry.
I think about 3 or 2 months, even in a few weeks. To keep em' pierced, just use an earring to make a hole. It's a whole alota cheapa'
It can take up to 12 weeks for an Industrial piercing to close up. Possibly even longer, as long as you clean the area with salen solution it will heal up just fine, DO NOT turn, the piercing it will do that by daily wear. And DO NOT take the piercing out, the skin will grow back together very quickly and cause the punctures to close, meaning you just paid for a piercing, that is no good anymore.
It depends on the type of piercing and the size of the piercing. If it's a small gauge it will close within a few days, larger gauge a weeks. Just wash the piercing remove the jewellery and clean the area when bathing normally. It will close when it feels like it, you just need to leave it alone.
It depends on where it is pierced. The lobes can take about 3 months to completely close up, where your cartilage can take 6 months to even a year to completely close up. It also depends on how long you have had the piercing. A piercing that you've had for years can take years to close (in my personal experience).
If you have had it over two years then, it should take around a week to about three weeks to close up.. I had mine for about 9 days which sucks, but it closed within three days..
Cleaning a new piercing with the cleanser/antiseptic given to you without the earring in it will actually close it rather quickly. If the piercing is already healed leaving the earring out for a long time will close it though usually (especially on ears) a mark will be left and still appear as if it were pierced
It depends on your body. And how long you have had it pierced. I have had mine pierced about a year, i took it out about 6 months ago when i found out i was pregnant. My piercing is still open. I have not messed with it or tried to put anything in it until today.. It all depends on how your body reacts..
It takes as long as it takes once a piercing has healed it depends on haow long you leave the jewellery out, if you are done with the piercing it can take a few days to several weeks for the piercing to actually close once it's a seasoned piercing (seasoned being over a year old).
