My one year old female was fine by the next day. I brought her home and she slept till the next morning and then was up and pretty much back to normal and by the thrid day you never knew whe had surgery.

Now my little 5 mo. old kitten I had spayed yesterday and she was still in pain today. The vet said as young as she was that she should have been up and playing today. So I ended up taking her back in today and he gave her a pain shot.

Now she is resting on my printer and purring away.

Only a few days and the stitches can come out and the dog will be completely recovered.
Unlike humans, dogs heal quite fast after being neutered. While they can not tell you how they are feeling, They frequently act like nothing happened in less than a day.
It can take up to 3 weeks for the area to heal. That is if you mean to heal from the surgical neutering. Some dogs heal faster than others in a week or 2.
Usually about a week until the stitches come out. Then prevent the dog from taking violent or strenuous exercise for a further two weeks.

Initial recovery from the surgical anesthetic takes 1-3 hours depending on the drugs used and the depth of anesthesia. The swelling and redness around the incision site should be mostly gone within 3 days of surgery. The sutures can generally be removed 14-21 days after surgery.

The cat will be sore for at least a couple of weeks. Avoid picking it up so that the wound can heal. As long as there is no infection the cat will be good in 10 to 15 days.

It takes 3 to 4 days and you just have to feed it and leave it sort itself out as they will get used to it after a while.

How long it going to take till a male dog get healthy after spade?

Dogs don't really 'get better' from being neutered because they are not ill. But if you mean 'How long does it take for the effects of neutering of dogs to wear off?' then the answer depends on how well the dog reacted to the neutering. My Grandmother's dog was recently neutered and he was not the same again until 3 months later. I found most of that information from a website but I think it would be wise to ask your pet's vet that question. Should you happen to be asking this out of interest and not for a dog you have or know then I suggest ASkJeeves.com because my answer may not be accurate
