i was admitted into the hospital and was out of it for 3 days before i came to and had someone go to my house to feed and relieve my dog! he had plenty of water and some food when i left.
he did not go to to bathroom or anything while i was gone!!! what a great dog, he was 3 years old and well trained. Now, i must admit that when his new play friend left and i did not come home that night, he pooed all over the stairs leading ot my room.... i don't care what they say... pay back happens from your pets!!
i think it depends on your breed of dog and how well he is trained to only go out side to relieve himself.
i initially trained him from 9 weeks old,,, by taking him outside every hour or so until he got the idea and always a treat when he went. it took lots of work on my part for a few months, but to this day he goes on command!! and, then runs back into the house for his pet on the head for being a good boy.
It takes 10 to 30 min if you take your dog outside
It depends on the age of the dog, puppies can go as quickly as 5 minutes after eating.
