The immediate effects will typically wear off within a few hours. For purposes of testing, it may be a month or three. If a particular test utilized a sample of hair or nail, it is important to consider when the hair or nail sample formed which can be years ago. Some effects of opiate type drugs such as this can last for years and if prolonged or severe use has occurred, may last for life.
Opiates (heroine, opium, codeine, morphine) metabolites codeine, morphine, and 6-acetyl-morphine.* Heroin breaks down into codeine and morphine. Codeine breaks down into morphine. 6-acetylmorphine (6-AM) is a heroin metabolite and also called 6-monoacetylmorphine (6-MAM). 6-AM metabolized to morphine.
Cutoff concentration recommended by the SAMHSA/NIDA for a positive result- immunoassay test is 2000 ng/ml GC-MS confirmation for Morphine /Codeine 2000ng/ml 6-acetylmorphine -10 ng/ml
urine drug test- casual use 1-5 days (heroine- 1-4days/opium-1-3 days/ morphine- 3-5days)/ habitual use- 4-7 days

depending on how often, and how much has been taken, but generally, about 10-12 days, 1st five days the opiate will have left, but there will still be metabolites in the system, and also the amount of water intake, or vitamins to flush your system this could be decreased
As a retired RN and myself under pain management, by my personal experience, it required about 45 minutes for the full effect to be felt by the patient. This, of coarse, is dependant upon a few things such as if you abuse drugs, how much you weigh, if the injury is recent. how old you are. I know that sounds like a typical medical personal cop out, but it is the best answer we have. I spent over five years of my career in pain management before I was injured and became the patient.
it depends on body weight, eating habbits, water intake,etc..and of course frequency of use and amount ,but usually 72 hours..5 days max
