It depends on the credit load carried. The average credit load per semester is 15 credits or five courses. Thus, if you take the average credit load it could take one semester, which is typically between 14 and 16 weeks depending on the schools semester system. If you are attending as a part-time student, then it could take two semesters.

It depends on how many credits you enroll for per semester. For full-time students who attend a college or university that operates on a regular two semester academic year, 15 credits is a typical full-time student load. Thus, as a full-time student taking 15 credits (usually five courses), it would take approximately 14 to 16 weeks depending on the schools semester schedule. Typically, the semesters run September through December for the Fall semester, and January through mid May for the Spring semester.

Depends on the number of classes and their respective credit hours.

Five 3-credit hour classes in one semester, many people do it, it's tough, especially if they are higher level classes.

Three 5-credit classes, which would be almost impossible to collect but I've seen it done.

More or less, four 3-credit classes per semester is the average.
