when cooking turkey just keep in mind that it takes 20 minutes per pound at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. the best way is to rub, or spray the turkey with oil (your choice of type) then put the turkey in a preheated 400 degree oven for 20-30 minutes then cut the heat 325 degrees. cover the breast area with foil just as you turn the heat down. also make sure to keep 1 1/2 1nches or so of water or chicken stock in the bottom of the pan throughout the entire roasting process
