Well it truly defends what your skin type is. I usually lay out for about 4 hours a week but i put on tanning spray to give it a nice crisp beachy look!(:
but it truly depends. and another way to get a tan is to just get some tanning spray its less trouble for you and your skin(:
If by natural you mean a dark bronzed color this could take up 3-5 days (in the sun) I've never actually gone to a tanning salon for health concerns so I'd recommend you to take it easy tanning the the sun. The first few days you've got to get the "base" color for when the next days tanning will be faster until you get the wanted results. All of course depending on your skin type.

Sometimes a farmers tan is easy to achieve and sometimes takes years to get rid of. But the best thing to do is wear lots of sun screen when going outside always head for the shade and get a skin lighting cream to help you long alittle always take lots of baths and showers and it will fade in time!!

You can remove fake tan creams with baking soda, facial creams, or tooth paste.
