How long does perfume stay on skin?
6-8 hours. depending on how much you use. if you use it as an air freshener it will stay in the air for 3-5 hours
Perfumes will stay on your skin as long as it isn't disturbed. It might lose it's smell after a while, but the perfume will still be there. Perfume also soaks into your skin and mixes with your body's natural oils; over time, this could mask the smell as well. Don't forget about your clothes, they can lightly rub against your skin and eventually remove the perfume in those areas. Also, scratching and rubbing will take…
Usually people just spray, pressing the top of the bottle, to their clothes or direct contact to the skin. In proper manner, perfume should be sprayed, on the skin,on both wrist, right under the palm, then rubbing both wrist with perfume sprayed on them, then to each side of the neck. Or spray it all over..

Rubbing the perfume into the skin causes the skin to absorb the liquid. Because the perfume is volatile, the liquid then slowly evaporates. At this point it is a gas and can be smelled. The concentration of the oils. Eau de Toilette is far less perfume concentrates than perfume. Perfume can have 15-40% perfume concentrates while Eau de toilette has only 1-6% perfume concentrates. The scent is therefor a lot lighter and doesn't last as long in the Eau de toilette than in the perfume.
I don't think any universal laws like gravity or friction effect gases so my bet would be that some would stay in an some would go out. Only way to know for sure is to open one. well wait, is it a liqiud perfume? cuz then they're not spraying out gases its a mist of liquid in which gas the perfume would stay in the bottle.
