It begins to work immediately, but as growth of hair is a very slow process you wont start to notice anything until about 3 months of taking the drug, it should begin to slow down hair loss, after around 6 months you may begin to notice new hair growth although this is not for everyone. If by 12 months you see no benefit, then Propecia is not for you.

Propecia typically starts to show results within 3-6 months of consistent use. However, optimal results may take up to 12 months. It is important to continue taking the medication as prescribed by your doctor for best results.

Is generic propecia as good as name brand propecia?

There is no difference between generic propecia and brand propecia. They have the same composition of the active ingredient. You can say brand propecia product for USA with brand. Generic version of the product for the whole world without the brand. The Generic version costs $ 0.60. Check rx2040 com. The benefit is obvious

How much does a year supply of Propecia cost?

Well sir, I am from the U.S., and at least here, 30 pills of Propecia (a month supply if you take it as directed) costs about $85.00. So for the year (again if you take 1/day) = $1020. Some men take propecia on a Monday / Wednesday / Friday schedule though, thereby cutting their "year supply" cost in half, and supposedly the results are the same with a MWF schedule, so that is something you ought to consider.
