Storage Conditions
The best temperature to store grains, including rice, is 40°F or below; however, rice stored at a constant 70° F with oxygen absorbers will store well for up to 10 years. In cooler storage areas rice sealed in oxygen-free containers can be stored for up to 30 years
Brown and white rices store very differently. Brown rice is only expected to store for 6 months under average conditions. This is because of the essential fatty acids in brown rice. These oils quickly go rancid as they oxidize. It will store much longer if refrigerated. White rice has the outer shell removed along with those fats. Because of this, white rice isn't nearly as good for you, but will store longer. Hermetically sealed in the absence of oxygen, plan on a storage life for white rice of 8-10 years at a stable temperature of 70 degrees F. It should keep proportionately longer if stored at cooler temperatures. Stored in the absence of oxygen, brown rice will last longer than if it was stored in air. Plan on 1 to 2 years. It is very important to store brown rice as cool as possible, for if you can get the temperature down another ten degrees, it will double the storage life again.

Hmm.... let's look at this person's source, it says:
"...Hermetically (white rice) sealed in the absence of oxygen, plan on a storage life for white rice of 25-30 years at a stable temperature of 65 degrees F. Stored in the absence of oxygen, brown rice will last longer than if it was stored in air. Plan on only 1 to 2 years if the temperature is kept cooler-50-60 degrees." Hmmm....either the site's info has changed since this answer was placed here or the answerer was being overtly conservative.
Note: to seal foods in the abscence of oxygen search the web for sealable mylar bags, and oxygen reduction packets. You place the food into the metallized mylar bag, and an appropiraetly sized oxygen scavanger packet and seal it with an iron. Then protect the fragile bag inside an appropriate container such as a food grade 5 gallon polyethylene pail.
White rice and wild rice have an indefinite shelf life when stored uncooked. Brown rice however keeps for only three to six months uncooked. Once cooked rice will last up to four to six days in the refrigerator or six months in the freezer.
Cooked rice should be kept n a fridge for no longer than one day. Cooked rice is a night risk food group for food poisoning and therefore it would be better to cook a fresh batch of rice rather than use pre-cooked rice. However, if you have bought the rice pre-packed and part cooked, it will have been treated to make it safe, so use it by the use by date on the label of the product packaging.
If kept in an airtight container for years.
until you take it out! hahahahah!!
Should be in rice for at least 24 hours
six hours
This can spoil if not kept in the refrigerator. Keep it in an airtight container to prevent drying out. It can last up to a week in the refrigerator.
A long time... I keep it in the cupboard. It doesn't even need to go in the fridge
As long as it remains dry, packaged rice will keep literally forever.
no more than four days
it will be 2weeks
Crab salad should keep safely in the refrigerator for three to four days.
Cauliflower should be safe for 1 week if stored in the refrigerator.
No.
about an hour or two.
Until it evaporates
6 months
1 week
