The white lion IS a color variant of any lion not a species or subspecies, they variant is mostly found in Panthera leo krugeri but can be found in all subspecies therefore a white lion is the same size as any other.

ps. most white lions die young as they cant support themselves and scare off all the prey of the pride, due to their lack of camoflouge.
