Like a lot of jobs, if you're a full-time computer tech you'll probably be working 8 hours a day. Sometimes a little longer if you're integrated into the company (i.e, you've been with them for a year or have many reoccurring customers). Sometimes you'll have to stay 20 to 30 minutes after your shift to finish a ticket/task.

At one of my gigs, I logged 42.5 per week, however I was only paid for 40 of those. The 2.5 were an addition from having to show up at 8:30 instead of 9. However, it was a trade-off due to being able to take lunch whenever I wanted.

Weekends also vary.
