used to be about 40 minutes youll just be getting a cuppa tea and the plane will start its decent, dunno if there is still flights after ryanair took over and cancelled a lot of routes, at the mo you cant fly from cork to dublin but i dont know about the converse route.

Well, it is 8 1/2 hours from Manchester to New York, so its probably about about 7 1/2 - 7 3/4hrs. if you have the choice of flying to Newark, NY then do - its smaller but much nicer than JFK. Having flown to both, I would choose Newark every time. The transit time into the city is pretty much the same

A flight from New York City, NY to a major airport in Ireland takes about seven or eight hours. That would be to either Dublin, Belfast, or Shannon.
