Prospective Army OCS applicants must have:

1) Outstanding service records with no major disciplinary infringements.

2) US Citizenship, plus approriate security clearance.

3) A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/ university, or at least 90 credits towards degree completion.

4) Clear leadership potential, & commitment to continue serving & to lead.

5) The support & recommendation of their current Commanding Officer.

There's no set time-frame per se, but it's unlikely all the above could be achieved in less than 3 years' service. Once an application is accepted, it may take a few months before a place is available at OCS. Plus, if the applicant is deployed on operations it may be necessary for him/ her to complete the tour of duty before going to OCS. Much will depend on current operational requirements, and/ or the individual applicant's circumstances.

What rank you will get if you enter marines with master's degree?

That depends on whether you enter the Marine Corps as an Officer or as an enlisted (Private), but there are other qualifications that you will have to pass like, a physical, educational and mental test. There are no guarantees until you pass boot camp or Officer Candidate School. If you are physically fit and believe you can be a leader, then I would recommend that you apply for Officer Candidate School. It will be the hardest training you ever did and you will be a Leader of Men when you graduate. Check out the possibilities. I DID!!
