On flat terrain, a "normal" pace is about 2-4 km per hour, and "fast" pace is about 5 and 7 km per hour.

Previous Answer:

The average time would be about one hour

at around 7~8kmph i can do 4km in 35mins, that's including warming up to the 7kmph and a 5 minute cool down at the end

There really isn't an average time, as it's highly dependent on the fitness level and effort from the rider, and type of bike that's ridden. A reasonably fit rider on a nice bike should be able to do it in 4-6 minutes, but it could take up to 12 minutes for a more casual rider.

It depends how slow/fast you walk. It would approximately take 40-45 minutes at a regular walking pace.

What is your average speed if you drive 120 km in 2 hours?

To find the average speed, divide the distance travelled by the time. By this procedure, the average speed is 60 km/h.

What is your average velocity if you drive a distance of 232 km at a speed of 46 km per h then the same distance at a speed of 70 km per h Answer in units of km per h?

This kind of question is tricky, because average velocity is not simply the average OF the velocities. The reason is you spend more time driving the slower part. The correct approach is to compute (average velocity) = (total distance) / (total time) Total distance = 232 + 232 km. Total time = (time going 46 km/h) + (time going 70 km/h) The above terms are found by computing distance/speed: at 46 km/h, it takes (232 km) / (46 km/h) = (232/46) hours etc. - you can finish the details.

If you cycle 3 km in 4 minutes what is the average speed?

What is the average speed of a car that travels 350 km in 5 hr?

The idea is to divide the distance by the time.

A car took 3hrs to complete a 240 km trip what was its average speed?

Average Speed is the distance traveled divided by the time it took to travel that distance. In this case, the distance traveled is 240 km, and the time is 3hrs.You do the calculation. (your answer will have the unit km/hr)

How long to cycle 8km if you cycle 150m per minute?

time = distance/speed 150 m = 0.150 km 8/.150 = 53.3 minutes

An airplane travels 80 km in 10 minutes and then flies 100km in 20 minutes the average speed of the plane is?

An airplane travels 80 km in 10 minutes and then flies 100km in 20 minutes the average speed of the plane is? 80 km in 10 minutes = 8 km/min 100km in 20 minutes = 5 km/min Average speed = total distance traveled ÷ total time Average speed = 180 km ÷ 30 min = 6 km/minute Notice the average speed is closer to 5 km/min, because the plane spends twice as much time traveling at the slower speed.

How far can a person run in 15 minutes if they run an average speed of 6 km?

Answer: The person runs for 15 minutes = a quarter hour. So distance covered = a quarter of 6 km = 1.5 km. Answer: In general, you use the formula distance = speed x time. For this, you have to convert the units to compatible units (see the other answer, above). Also, please note that "6 km" is NOT a speed.
