Its the length of sentence that defines when the conviction is spent not the crime. If the sentence was for two and a half years or more it is never spent and always has to be declared. I would expect that it would. As with so many things now while it may not disqualify you directly, why hire someone with a conviction when there are so many applicants without a conviction. Add to that the fact that this could be seen as a morals issue and your chances become less and less.
